Reuters Story Shows "Webfeeds" Moniker is Sticking

Reuters' Eric Auchard examines how news publishers are experimenting with RSS feeds.

Perhaps the most remarkable point of the story is that the name Amy Gahran coined for RSS, Webfeeds, is actually sticking. Boy, I bet Dave Winer will just love that.

Internet readers can devour the latest headlines from publishers large and small, using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) or "Webfeeds" to view them on custom Web pages tailored to their interests, or on separate software that works on a PC.
